The Ricardo, formerly known as the cargo ship EDDA, now lies as a sunken relic 14 kilometers off the coast of Djerba in the Maritime Zone. Measuring 100 meters in length, the vessel rests between 19 and 27 meters beneath the surface. On January 18, 1943, it met its fate when torpedoed by the British submarine "Unbroken". Today, this dive site, accessible solely by boat, offers a glimpse into history submerged deep within the waters of the Maritime Zone.
