Cala Calella, l'Estartit, Spain

This dive site is located on the Montgrí Coast, within the Natural Park, and is the closest dive site to the Medes Islands on the coast.

The underwater landscape follows the profile of the coast, presenting rocky areas with vertical wall stretches that descend to a sandy bottom. This varied topography provides a fascinating environment for underwater exploration.

The marine life at this site is rich and diverse. You can find the typical fauna of rocky and coralligenous environments, including lobsters and other crustaceans, schools of castanets and three-tailed, scorpionfish and some groupers. If we look towards the blue, we may be lucky enough to spot sea eagles passing through the area. The Medes Islands, and especially this point on the Montgrí Coast, offer an unparalleled diving experience, combining a rich biodiversity and breathtaking underwater landscapes that enchant divers of all levels.
