On the right side of the outdoor area of Cala Montgó, you can see a large cave on the surface, popular with kayakers or paddle boarders. This point is protected from the tramuntana and the levante, the winds that most punish our coast.
The dive consists of following the cliff in the direction of the open sea until you reach an underwater landscape of large rocks with cavities that house the typical life of coralligenous, such as lobsters, breams, sea bream and dentex. It is also possible to observe, on occasion, kites and barracudas. This dive is calm and suitable for all levels of divers, ranging from -6 meters to -26 meters deep.
The marine life in Cala Montgó is diverse and abundant, offering a unique experience for divers. The proximity to the town of l'Escala makes this place a popular destination for both beginner and experienced divers. Cala Montgó not only provides easy access to stunning underwater landscapes, but also the opportunity to explore the rich biodiversity that characterizes this region. Diving in Cala Montgó allows you to enjoy a mixture of tranquility and adventure, highlighting the natural beauty of the coast of l'Escala.

Nice diving spot when the sea is rough. It is located in a large cove that protects from the waves and the current. This dive goes along the coast towards the open sea to find a small tunnel around 17 meters. Often many octopuses are present. Good backup diving if the sea is rough.
