Under the surface of the large cliffs that we find at this dive site, one of the best sets of underwater caves on the Montgrí coast is hidden. There are several caves connected to each other, forming a route of more than 200 meters where we find up to 3 air chambers of different sizes. These caves present little difficulty, making them ideal for initiation into underwater caves, since inside we do not find ramifications or complicated or narrow passages.
The entrance is about -16 meters away, previously crossing a large arch that allows you to see the entry of light from both ends at all times. At the different entrances of the tour we find abundant walls of red coral and a large number of lobsters.

During my dive at Cala Viuda in L'Escala, Spain, I was amazed by the mysterious caves, an impressive underwater arch, and a skylight that bathed the clear waters. Even though the marine life wasn't as abundant as what I'd seen in the Medes Islands, the underwater scenery was simply stunning, with majestic lobsters as a bonus. For me, this site is a paradise for caving enthusiasts, offering a unique and unforgettable adventure.

Magnificent diving in Cala Viuda, L'Escala, Spain, with underwater caves, a natural arch, a skylight and lobsters; although the fauna is less abundant than on the Medes Islands, the seabed remains splendid, ideal for cave diving enthusiasts.
