Peniche is home to a remarkable spot known as Farilhões Cemetery. Situated in a less accessible and exposed area to the north, this site is a poignant reminder of the numerous shipwrecks that occurred in thick foggy conditions. The seabed is so littered with wreckages that it becomes challenging to distinguish between them.
