Bristol Beaufighter, Sliema, Malta

The Bristol Beaufighter, a World War II airplane wreck in Malta, is located near Sliema. This twin-engine, two-seat heavy fighter measures approximately 12.6 meters in length and has a wingspan of 17.6 meters. On March 17, 1943, shortly after taking off, the Beaufighter encountered mechanical issues, forcing the crew to ditch the aircraft into the sea.
