The Saracen, a notable English steamer from April 4, 1911, weighed 3,272 tons and measured 103.6 meters in length, 14.8 meters in width, with a 7-meter draught. On December 26, 1917, it collided with La Roche des Plâtresses in the Maritime Zone. The vessel now lies on its keel at a depth of 50 meters, still retaining its cannon and propeller.
