The Maritime Zone of the Bay of Pigs offers a plethora of dive and snorkeling spots that are conveniently located. In addition to the bay area, there are cenotes available for diving just a short distance inland. Divers and snorkelers can admire tropical fish, coral reefs, a few wrecks, and cenotes with haloclines, which are natural phenomena where freshwater meets saltwater creating a unique visual effect.
