Rye Pier, located near Melbourne, is an L-shaped structure approximately 500 meters in length. Built in 1860 to support the lime trade, the pier extends North-Northeast, making it unsuitable for diving in strong northerly winds. The lower landing is situated 50 meters from the pier's end, requiring a long walk to reach. Night dives are recommended for a better experience, as more marine life becomes active.
